You will find below our terms of use and our privacy practices for www.rangeryouthcheer.com (the "Terms"). These Terms may change from time to time, and all changes are effective immediately when we post them, so please check this website often.

You agree that we may provide email notifications to you (regarding updates to this website, program notifications, and marketing messages). If you are not a program participant and you do not want us to continue contacting you, you may request that we remove you from our email list by contacting rangeryouthcheerinfo@gmail.com.

We are located in the United States, and our goods and services are intended to be provided to users in Michigan.

You may be asked to provide registration details and other information in order for your children to participate in Ranger Youth Cheer's programs. It is your responsibility to ensure that all information you provide is correct, current, and complete. You will keep confidential your username, password, and other access to this website, and you agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to or use of your username or password. You also agree to use this website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

All acknowledgments provided as part of the registration process (including without limitation consent to comply with the Athletic Code of Conduct and the Parent and Athlete Concussion Information sheet) are binding upon you, and are incorporated by reference into these Terms as if they were fully set forth herein.

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 14 years of age. We will only use or disclose personal information about a child to the extent permitted by law, to seek parental consent pursuant to local law and regulations, or to protect a child. During the registration process, we will ask for your consent to use images and videos taken of your child during the season, for marketing purposes. If you wish to withdraw that consent, you must provide written notice to us at rangeryouthcheerinfo@gmail.com using the subject line "Revocation of Consent".

IN NO EVENT WILL RANGER YOUTH CHEER OR ITS AGENTS, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SERVICE PROVIDERS OR VOLUNTEERS BE LIABLE FOR DAMAGES OF ANY KIND, UNDER ANY LEGAL THEORY, ARISING OUT OF OR IN CONNECTION WITH YOUR PARTICIPATION IN THE RANGER YOUTH CHEER PROGRAM, INCLUDING ANY DIRECT, INDIRECT, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO, PERSONAL INJURY, PAIN AND SUFFERING, EMOTIONAL DITRESS, LOSS OF REVENUE, LOSS OF PROFITS, LOSS OF BUSINESS OR ANTICIPATED SAVINGS, LOSS OF USE, LOSS OF GOODWILL, AND LOSS OF DATA, WHETHER CAUSED BY TORT (INCLUDING NEGLIGENCE), BREACH OF CONGTRACT OR OTHERWISE, EVEN IF FORSEEABLE. WITHOUT LIMITING THE FOREGOING, YOUR RECOVERY FROM RANGER YOUTH CHEER SHALL BE LIMITED TO THE TOTAL REGISTRATION FEES YOU HAVE PAID TO RANGER YOUTH CHEER.

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Ranger Youth Cheer and its agents, officers, directors, service providers and volunteers from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, judgments, awards, losses, costs, expenses or fees (including reasonable attorneys' fees) arising out of or relating to use of this website and/or participation in Ranger Youth Cheer programs by you and/or your children.

All matters relating to these Terms and any dispute or claim arising therefrom or relating thereto shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Michigan without giving effect to any choice or conflict of law provision or rule. Any legal suit, action or proceeding arising out of or relating to these Terms or Ranger Youth Cheer's program shall be brought in the state or federal courts in Kent County, Michigan, and you consent to jurisdiction and venue in such courts.

Refund Policy

As a non-profit organization, we try to keep the fees as low as possible to ensure that everyone has the chance to participate. We are forced to make decisions about uniforms and pay insurance long before the season starts. Due to the fact that we need to make these decisions in advance, the following refunds will be granted only if the person requesting the refund emails Ranger Youth Cheer at rangeryouthcheerinfo@gmail.com by the deadlines listed below. There will be no exceptions to the following rules.

In the event that a cheerleader no longer wishes to participate in the sideline cheer program:

Before the first sideline cheer practice: a refund will be granted for the sideline cheer registration fee minus a $20 processing fee.

On or after the date of the first sideline cheer practice: no refund will be granted.

In the event that the sideline cheer season is cancelled in its entirety due to pandemic or related shutdown:

Before uniforms are ordered: A refund will be granted for the sideline cheer registration fee.

After uniforms are ordered, but before the first practice: A refund will be granted for the sideline cheer registration fee minus a $20 processing fee, and participants may keep the bow and shirt ordered by Ranger Youth Cheer for participants’ uniforms.

On or after the date of the first sideline cheer practice: The Ranger Youth Cheer Board will re-evaluate and refund a pro-rated amount calculated by taking into account the expenses incurred during the partial season.

Ranger Youth Cheer is not responsible for and will not refund any amounts paid to third party suppliers, including amounts paid for the supplemental parts of the cheer uniform (such as shoes and bodysuits). RYC encourages persons seeking a refund for such items to work directly with the supplier of such items, pursuant to such supplier’s own refund policies.

Privacy Practices

Ranger Youth Cheer collects information in several ways in order to effectively provide information regarding our programs, and to aid in program registration and communication.

When you conduct a transaction on our website, as part of the process, we collect information from you. Some of this information is from forms that you may fill out in order to participate in our programs. This includes information by which you may be personally identified, such as name, postal address, e-mail address, telephone number, and other identifiers by which you may be contacted online or offline.

As you navigate our website, we may automatically collect certain information about your equipment, browsing actions and patterns, including details of your visits to our website, including traffic data, location data, logs, and other communication data. We may also collect information about your computer and internet connection, including your IP address, operating system and browser type.

We may use cookies (or browser cookies) for automatic data collection. A cookie is a small file placed on the hard drive of your computer. You may refuse to accept browser cookies by activating the appropriate setting on your browser. We do not track users over time and across third party websites to provide targeted advertising.

We collect information from you to provide and operate this website, to provide assistance and customer support, to provide our programs and services to you and your children, to contact users and program participants with notices, updates, and marketing/promotional messages, to improve our services, and to comply with applicable laws and regulations.
